They are the perfect balance between the two previous styles; they don’t have the heaviness or overly polarizing rockstar element of the harness boots, but still maintain the sleek and stylish high-fashion look of the hidden elastic, lighter color, and darker sole.
The color, like the harness boots, is a light cool beige tone (but slightly lighter than the first pair). The shaft is not as tall as the harness boots and the heel is 30mm like the second pair. The color of the sole is more of a cognac, which is probably our least favorite sole color of the three boots. It has a slight orange or red tinge to the leather, which is similar to the second pair.
The quality of the materials, like the others, is stunning. The shape is basically the same as the others, with a wide toe box and pointed toe.
One thing we really liked about this pair is the pieces of suede they’ve attached to the elastic. These suede strips are made of the same material as the rest of the boot and cover up the elastic, which gives it a very clean and sleek look overall. This design element addresses the complaint we had about the second pair and we love the look of it. These boots are a little harder to find, but if you can get your hands on a pair, they are definitely well worth it.

Just keep in mind your pants do still need to be pretty slim to pull these boots off. They just don’t really work with wider leg openings and extra fabric flopping around.
